Bandleader for The Otter Guys (Morro Bay CA...We play up and down the Coast.
For Three Years Now we have been Playing for Folks from Bakersfield Ca...but when they are on Vacation over here on the Coast.

I live near Morro Bay CA now having moved South from Chico Ca a few years back.
I will be doing my 2nd year in a Row playing for Sara and The San Luis Obispo Ca Blues Society....as the Opening Act for their Mardi Gras Show. This Year it is on Sat-Night Feb 2oth 2010. We share the Bill with Rosie Ledet (Lead-Singer and Acordian Player) and The Zydeco Playboys from Louisianna. Fun Fun !!

In the Scorcese documentary about the blues, there is one segment where someone is playing a crude flute of some sort. I am trying to find out what that instrument is called. Anyone know? Thanks.

I am a San Francisco painter. I recently painted a portrait of the contemporary Blues artist Eric Bibb, playing the National Guitar owned by the legendary bluesman Booker White ("Bukka White"), most famous for his blues classic "Parchman Farm."

I'd love to submit the newly released song "Note For Note (in memory of Jeff Healey)" to your site. The song has already been picked up to air on The House of Blues 200 affiliates via Elwood Blues. It is also scheduled for broadcast across Canada on CBC 1 Saturday night Blues show and has numerous other stations coming on board daily. The song has been sanctioned by the Jeff Healey Estate who have been in the loop since the first words were written and said Thank You for Don's efforts at a great song to reflect the talent that was Jeff Healey.
